A couple of years ago, my parents gave each of their kids a little book that contained the 100 Days Closer to Christ Challenge. In this awesome book there is a quote for each day, chapters of the Book of Mormon to read, and some questions to ask yourself. I completed the challenge a while ago, but I feel the need to do it again.
On September 16, me and my family started the challenge. Why September 16, do you ask? Well I decided that the best gift I could give my Savior this year would be to finish the Book of Mormon. So, I counted back from Christmas Eve 100 days, and low and behold, that fell on September 16. If we stay on track, we will finish on Christmas Eve. What better gift for Christmas could I give my Savior than that!?
I am truly excited for the first time in a long time for where things are headed in my life. I know if I stay on the right track, eat healthy, and become closer to my Savior and my Father in Heaven then I will be truly happy. I can't wait to see what the future holds!
NOTE: The actual challenge can be found here by going to Google and searching on 100 Days closer to Christ (it is the one located on ldssinglesssg.com). I retyped every day onto half sheets of paper so that we would have room to answer the questions. Here is what my first two days looks like:
